As Summer Begins...

So does my 3rd Trimester!!!
And yes I know technically it is not summer but we are reaching summer temperatures & too soon if I do say so myself!
That's right I'm 6 months Along!!!
I had my doctors appointment today & weighed in at 153LBS. I didn't gain weight at my last doctors appointment so total weight gained so far has only been 3LBS!!! I have been feeling Mr. Tredd moving all the day long. He is an active one. In fact I had to have my cervix checked today because twice in the last 2 weeks I have experienced major crotch throb, the kind I would get on my period, the kind where it hurt to walk. So I asked my Doctor if this was something to be concerned about (I have been extremely active up to this point, between CRaZy work hours & chasing a toddler around) So she wanted to check to make sure there was zero activity going on since it is way too early. Man how I hate that part of being pregnant! But good news is nothing is going on. I got my fruit punch drink to check my glucose next time. Only one more 4 week appointment, then it's every 2 weeks!!! I feel like for the most part this pregnancy is going by fast but there are definitely times I think it could go faster. I found some super cute prego jeans at Ross. They were clearanced out but I talked the manager into giving me an additional discount because someone with an extremely fat butt ripped the elastic part nearly off. But I just took some thread & a needle & sewed those suckers back to new!!
Here I am wearing them. I don't look pregnant from the front, but I've got some major Love Handles going on!

EASTER

This Easter weekend was busy and fun-filled. Friday we took Jhett to meet the Easter Bunny. This is how it went....

Checking him out....
Mom I can do this!
Then again...Maybe Not!!
Jhett had a death grip on me and was so scared!! I really didn't want to be in this picture!

Saturday we headed to Home Depot to pick up supplies for a goodie I found at Goodwill. Pictures on that later on. We happened to show up when they were having a FREE Kids Workshop!!! So we decided to join in. You could make a helicoptor or a bird house. Jhett wanted the helicoptor! Jhett was so stinking cute helping Austin make it.

They also had the fire department there and were letting kids climb in and out of the truck. Jhett thought that was pretty cool!

Ok so back to Friday night. Jori was having a surprise 50th birthday party & to kill time before showing up we decided to walk around Goodwill for fun & thats when I spotted this beauty. Bonus it was 1/2 off!
Price $9

I also spotted 6 lamp shades that would fit perfect at Goodwill.
Price $12
After some spray paint & trim...

TADA!!!

I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! Now I finally have a chandelier over my kitchen table!!
Total Cost $40
I'm thinking about adding some crystals to it...

Sunday morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny stopped by. Jhett was super excited about the eggs that were hidden and the goodies that were inside them.

Of course we can't do anything lately with out having one of these...
TANTRUM!!

We ended egg hunting with French Toast and Conference. We headed to my mom's for a yummy lunch, then off to Jeff & Jill's (Jori's sister) house in North Scottsdale for more food & another Easter Egg Hunt. This was the second time driving out to their house & the second time getting lost. So by the time we got there I was feeling sick from all the ups & downs in the road & was not in the mood to take more pictures at the party. The few I did take did not turn out very well, so no posts on that.

McCormick Railroad Park

Recently I had a cousin come to town & my grandma organized a bunch of us to get together & meet at the Railroad Park in Scottsdale. Such a neat place! Jhett of course had a blast doing all the things there is to there. We will definately be making another trip there sometime.

When we arrived, we were the first to get there. I wore my Tummy T to announce to my mom's family what I was having. Nobody was noticing when they finally showed up so finally I was like, "grandma do you notice anything about me?" Grandma-" You are pregnant!" Me- "Well yeah, anything else??" Grandma-"Your hair is shorter?" Me pointing to my stomach-"GRANDMA, I'm having ANOTHER BOY!!!"
The play area was really nice.
Jhett really liked this Rock Climbing wall to get to the slides.

Waiting to ride the carousel.
One of Jhett's favorite things to do.

Me, Jhett, & my Momma riding the Train
The weather was perfect, the company was great, & I just really enjoyed spending time with my Jhett! Thank you grandma for organizing the trip! Thank you mom for driving, paying for the rides & lunch!
