Going to the Sand Dunes is one of Austin's favorite things to do. His first trip this year was in January. Austin, his dad, uncle Kent, and cousin Lanny took a trip to the Sand Dunes. I put these pictures on mainly to show the new boarder line that has been built between the USA & Mexico.

Austin figured that first trip in January was going to be his birthday present but Austin's dad surprised him when asking him in February if he would like money for his birthday or a trip to the dunes. With no hesitation Austin picked another trip to the DUNES! On March 13th he was able to go with his dad and a few other guys for the day. Austin said it was perfect, the weather was great and hardly anybody was there.

Austin built this Sandrail with his dad. Known as the 'Udallizer' it gets going pretty fast! He was driving it around for 2 hours and then it broke down and they weren't able to use it for the rest of the trip. Austin had a blast and can't wait until Jhett is big enough to take with him!

ReplyDeleteThat looks like quite the thrill. I hate to get dirty so the doons are not my favorite thing in the world. But exciting nonetheless. You guys look like you are having fun. We miss the ward, but also love where we are at. Have a great day.
