TUESDAY
We left Phoenix for Orlando, Florida. I was so nervous about the airport and how security would be so we were there 2 hours before our flight. I was also nervous that Jhett would be such a stinker. Surprisingly Jhett was awesome and security was a breeze. Jhett & I walked up & down stairs for awhile. So glad I wasn't hugely pregnant but then again it still wore me out. Then Austin pushed him around in a wheelchair & walked him through the gift shop. Jhett was SO serious while being pushed around, it was hilarious to me. I really should have taken a picture of all the crap we took on the plane. We had 2 carry-ons, a car seat, a purse, & 2 backpacks. We checked on the plane a giant bag and Jhett's stroller. Over packers??Nah, we just come prepared :)
That morning we went to Senior's Work to pick up passes to go their local Zoo. We spent a good amount of time there. Austin & Jhetts eyes were both lit up as we walked the aisles of the plant looking at all the heavy machinery. I really should have got a picture of it. About lunch time we headed over to McDonald's where we ate lunch then headed to the Zoo. The weather was beautiful & the zoo is so much better then the Phoenix Zoo. It's alot smaller but the animals are within arms reach. Every exhibit we walked by you could see the animals. The birds were not in cages. Just out in the open. They could have flown away if they wanted. It was just crazy. There was a very nice play area for kids. Jhett of course LOVES playgrounds so we spent some time playing on that.
When we got to the giraffes, you literally could pet them. They had machines you could pay to get food to feed them but we didn't do that. As it was I was kind of scared at how close we were to the animals. Jhett loved it though!
Disney Day! I was so excited for this. I was the one that woke Austin & Jhett up to get ready to go. Once again I'm a little disappointed in the pictures I got. Every time we got on a ride it was too dark to get any and also they are fast moving so no time to snap a picture before the ride starts. All that matters is we had a blast!!! The day was absolutely perfect. We pretty much walked on every ride the longest we had to wait was 20 min and that was for dumbo. The weather was slightly overcast with a light breeze. I can't wait until Jhett is 42" tall so we can do all rides!
It would have been fun to get more pictures with Characters but there were lines so long and we kind of just happened to be right there when Lilo & Stitch came out.
This is what Jhetts face looked like on every ride we went on.
He did smile eventually I was just never able to catch it on camera. It would have been great to get his face the first time we went on Pirates. He screamed when we went on the first drop but then was wide eyed for the rest of the ride. Haunted Mansion his face looked the same and didn't cry at all. Actually the ride he cried on was Peter Pan's Flight! He totally fell asleep on It's a Small World. By the time I realized it and got out the camera the ride was over and he woke up!We enjoyed a Churro or 2. You can't go to DisneyLand and not have a churro. Jhett thoroughly enjoyed it!
We were able to catch one of the shows going on. Jhett liked it too!
I was kind of nervous Jhett wouldn't nap at all then I looked down after being at the park for 3 hours and Jhett was completely out!
On our way out we asked someone to take a picture of the 3 of us with the castle in the background.
FRIDAY
Started of the morning with Dunkin Donuts! Jhett asked for the one with Candy (chocolate sprinkles) and he ate the entire thing!
We decided to have lunch at a park near by. We got a Little Caesars Pizza & bread sticks. The park was very pretty full of big green trees.
We never did see an alligator. Austin said they have to post signs like that in areas that have water. Scary Huh? The lake did have giant turtles in it. Kids were feeding turtles rather then ducks :)
We had lunch at the Yacht Club. I didn't get a picture because Jhett was being very naughty that day and Austin & him walked alot outside. When they finally came in we ate then left. We spent alot of time just hanging out at Austin's grandparent's house. They heated up their pool & Jacuzzi for us.
We left. It was a fun relaxing trip. I can't thank Senior & Virginia enough for all they did for us. THANK YOU!!! Hope to see you guys again soon!

Looks like a BLAST! Love all the pictures, aren't family vacations the best?! Glad you were able to get away and enjoy your time in Florida!
